Wish Design Shop jewelry is guaranteed to satisfy. if for any reason an item in our current line does not meet your expectations, just return it in new condition with proof of purchase within 30 days for a refund or exchange. (note: some made-to-order and hand-stamped items may be non-returnable.)please contact us at info@wishdesignshop.com to arrange any return. we will need your order number and reason for return. we are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged jewelry once it has left our studio.
payment types:
we accept all major credit cards via google checkout. google checkout is a safe and secure way to order goods online.
shipping:
please expect up to a 2 week turn around time (less shipping) due to the handmade nature of these items as they take longer to process than a mass made piece. we ship via USPS (United States Postal Service). shipping is a flat rate of $5 for the first item, plus $1 per each item thereafter. please note that you can select ‘pickup’ at checkout and you will be charged nothing for shipping. this option is for those who live in the reno area and can stop by our studio and pick their pieces up. we do not have a rush option at this time, but please email info@wishdesignshop.com if you have a special need, and we will work something out for you.
handmade:
please note that all pieces on this site are handstamped by individual letter stamping tools. there is no guarantee that a piece will look exactly like the photo although we make every effort to have this happen. there will be slight variations in all of our pieces, making them one of a kind. letters and numbers may not be perfectly straight or aligned properly, and spacing may vary. this adds to the charm of your custom piece. beauty is found in imperfection and items created by human hands rather than machines.
handmade also means manufacturing times may be a bit longer than that of a mass produced piece. we make each order a priority and will ship yours as soon as possible.
how to care for your jewelry:
silver-
silver jewelry is very easy to care for so have no worries stocking your jewelry box with it!
keep your jewelry in the box when not being worn. if you find your jewelry is tarnishing, get a soft cloth (such as the type used for eyeglasses) and give it a good rub. if it is still not back to it’s original glory, a mild, liquid hand soap will do the trick. there are also many silver polish products on the market that will remove the tarnish with ease.
gold filled-
the term “gold filled” describes metal that is made up of a solid layer of gold (10, 12 or 14kt) bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal core. this base metal is usually brass. to be called gold filled, the gold portion of the metal must equal at least 1/20 the weight of the total piece. to identify a piece of jewelry that is made of gold filled material, the manufacturer stamps the piece “1/20 12kt GF.” the karat notation will vary depending upon the karat of the gold used in the piece.
gold filled wire and clasps are made from sheets of gold filled material. this process differs from “gold plate.” plated items are made out of a base metal and the gold is added to the surface after the piece is fabricated. the plating is adhered using a chemical or electric process and the layer of gold on the piece is much thinner and not as durable as gold filled.
gold filled metals will eventually lose their luster. to extend the life of the piece, avoid immersing in water or jewelry cleaning solution. clean pieces by gently rubbing with a polishing cloth.
